The biggest taboo in a downtrend is blindly chasing shorts after a rebound. What made this trade relatively comfortable was that there was enough time to observe the rebound strength before entering. After the price went through a decline and entered consolidation, the key rebound levels gradually moved lower and never returned to the previous starting point of the decline.
