$XAU surged nearly 5% yesterday, reaching a high of 4308, but the rally is now facing a critical technical barrier. On the daily timeframe, price has reached the MA99, where sellers are stepping in and rejection candles are starting to appear.

1Hr Chart : Price seems loosing MA7 and holding above MA25, but momentum is slowing after the sharp rally. RSI is cooling from overbought levels, while MACD is beginning to flatten.
