After surging to 99.73 earlier, the U.S. dollar saw large numbers of longs take profits and exit, falling all the way to stabilize around 99.07. After forming a W-bottom, it gradually rebounded, with the current price at 99.59 above the short-term moving averages.
Technically, resistance is at 99.65–99.73, the first support at 99.35, and the key floor at 99.07. On the hourly timeframe, this is merely a corrective rebound after the decline, not a direct trend reversal. A move toward the previous high is likely to face renewed pressure.

Still above 54. Manufacturing is expanding. It is just not accelerating.
That matters for the setup we have been tracking.
A hold above 55 and a grind toward 60 would have added fuel. This print cooled that story by one month.
Not a collapse. Not a breakout either.
Risk assets wanted a hotter print. They got a softer one.

How should ETH be traded now?
This rebound just pushed prices higher and looks fairly strong, but the overhead resistance is clearly there. My approach has always been to focus on shorting rallies. Put simply, the market is currently grinding back and forth within a range; whichever side sees a volume breakout will determine the real direction.
The first major resistance is around 2490. If funds aggressively push the price up and it breaks through on heavy volume, the next level to watch is 2520. Consider opening a small short position at 2520; if it continues higher toward 2560, add directly.
