CHINA’S BOND MARKET IS FLASHING A BIG MACRO SIGNAL
China’s 10-year government bond yield has slipped below the 1.7% level, reaching 1.70% on August 13, 2026, after falling another basis point from the previous session. It is now hovering around its lowest levels in more than a year.
This is more than a move in one bond.
The decline is increasingly reflecting investor expectations for weaker inflation, softer domestic demand and continued monetary support from Beijing.

Entered at 4.8130. Over 24h, it surged from 4.19 to 4.87 before pulling back. Volume for $CSOPSKHYNIX2L is still holding up, but the risk of chasing is greater than the potential reward. My position is up 7.2%; I plan to add 20% on a pullback to 4.72, cut losses and exit below 4.60, with an initial take-profit target of 4.91. Alternatively, if it breaks above the previous high of 4.87 on heavy volume, I’ll add 30% directly, targeting 5.12. The 8.9M trading volume isn’t small, but volatility is too high, so I’ll keep the position within 40%. Results will be updated in the comments.
