$ETH CoinWorld reports that Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated that the company will stop purchasing Ethereum once its holdings reach 5% of the circulating supply. It currently holds 6,016,414 ETH, accounting for approximately 4.9%. Lee said at the Token2049 conference in Singapore that Bitmine is currently about 100,000 ETH away from this threshold and is expected to complete the purchases within the next six to seven weeks. Lee called 5% Bitmine’s “hard cap,” aimed at optimizing shareholder value.
