$NEAR IS AT A DECISION POINT
A breakout could change the structure but the market hasn’t confirmed it yet.
$NEAR is still compressing inside a falling structure, with price trapped between resistance and a key support zone.
The immediate resistance sits around $1.65–$1.70.
A clean break and hold above this range could expose:
→ $1.80
→ $2.00–$2.10
On the downside, $1.50–$1.45 remains the major support area.
The interesting part is the compression.
When price continues to tighten around important levels, the eventual expansion can become significant. But until $NEAR R decisively clears $1.65–$1

My biggest concern is that this is just a lower high after a parabolic run.
I've intra-day traded this off and on for the volatility but I'm not willing to buy and hold from here.
Above $1800 and bears are in trouble so I'll keep that level in mind for now.

The overnight short-at-high idea played out, and the bearish market conditions have been fully released. Gold prices have continued to retreat from the 4436 high, with hourly prices moving near the lower Bollinger Band.
