Iran in No Hurry to Reopen the Strait of Hormuz

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated that Iran is in no hurry to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Although an understanding has been reached with Oman regarding transit arrangements, implementation depends on the United States fulfilling its commitments. Iran stressed that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and that all vessels passing through must obtain coordination and permission from Iran.
