But what caught my attention is not just the $189.3M inflow in a single day.
It’s the speed of the reversal.
Just a few days earlier, US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced three consecutive sessions of net outflows.
The result?
📉 Around $250M left Bitcoin ETFs between August 12 and August 14.
But then the trend suddenly changed.

There’s an interesting shift happening in crypto capital flows. According to a DefiLlama data snapshot from August 18, 2026, Gate recorded approximately $273.72 million in net inflows over the past 7 days, placing it among the Top 3 centralized exchanges globally.
What stands out to me is that net inflows are not just about the amount of money moving into an exchange. Strong and consistent inflows can reflect growing user activity, increasing liquidity demand, or greater confidence in a platform’s ecosystem.
That said, I wouldn’t automatically view this a

Now the picture becomes less straightforward. RSI has moved into overbought territory, so despite the impressive recovery I want to see more price structure before deciding whether this is simply a corrective rally or the beginning of something larger.

Gold's low-level oversold rebound is continuing. The hourly chart has continued to recover upward from the 4324 low, with the price gradually moving above the middle Bollinger Band. Previous selling pressure has been fully released, while short-term buying has entered and driven the market higher. The short-term rebound pattern is taking shape, with a focus on the effectiveness of support below.
