What Is a Private Key? Why Is It at the Core of Your Digital Asset Security?
In Web3, you may often hear the saying: “Not your keys, not your coins.”
But what exactly is a private key? Why is it so important? If you don't have the private key, does that mean the assets don't belong to you?
To truly understand the security mechanisms of digital assets, you must first understand the role private keys play in the blockchain ecosystem.
1. What exactly is a private key?
Simply put, a private key is secret information used to generate digital signatures. In many blockchain systems, wallets use priva

5 Common Mistakes When Backing Up Your Seed Phrase—You May Be Making Them Too
In the cryptocurrency world, many people know that their seed phrase is important, but not necessarily how to back it up properly.
Some save screenshots of their seed phrase on their phones, some upload it to cloud storage, and others think that as long as they remember their password, they can easily recover their wallet even if they forget their seed phrase.
These seemingly convenient practices may actually put digital assets at unnecessary risk.
Today, let's look at the five most common mistakes people make when b

October 26 $ETH Market Update
2300 has broken down. How much further could it fall?
Ether fell to a weekend low of 2281 and is now back around 2310. Given its decline from 2526, bears still have the upper hand in the short term, but remain alert to a potential technical rebound after the sharp drop.
This decline is not just the result of technical weakness; the macro environment is also unfavorable.
Tensions in the Middle East and high oil prices have heightened inflation concerns, Fed policy expectations are hawkish, and AI capital expenditures and financing pressures among tech stocks are a

October 23 $ETH Market Update
This market has really been frustrating lately: it can't move higher, and whenever it drops, buyers step in.
Yesterday, ETH retested lower levels, hitting a low of 2359, very close to the 2350 support we had been watching, before rebounding to around 2400.
On the 4-hour chart, there is some support at the lows for now, but the strength of the rebound still needs confirmation.
Support has appeared around 2350 several times, but each retest has only produced a weak rebound. If buying pressure does not continue to strengthen, it may not hold the next time it's tested.
Next, watch whether it can reclaim and hold 2430–2450; only then will it have a chance to continue rebounding.
A daily break below 2300 would put the 2250–2200 zone in focus. This means the short-term structure would weaken further.
In addition, ETH/BTC also remains weak, indicating that ETH currently lacks clear relative strength. Long-term positives such as institutions moving on-chain and staking remain worth watching.

Oil Prices Remain High: Which Market Will Take the First Hit?
In my view, U.S. stocks are likely to feel the first broad-based impact, while cryptocurrencies could experience the sharpest short-term volatility. Gold might benefit if investors seek a "safe haven," though expectations of higher interest rates could limit its gains.
A potential chain reaction
1. U.S. stocks — the first broad-based impact
High oil prices drive up transportation and production costs, squeeze corporate profit margins, and fuel inflationary concerns. If markets begin to price in higher inter

Actually, it’s raining both inside and outside the door.
It’s just that you went to the effort of running outside.
The cost you paid shapes your psychological perception, so you feel like the rain outside is lighter.
Just like how your position determines your viewpoint.
Letting go of the bias from your position/cost (sunk costs) is the first step toward first-principles thinking.
P.S. Hong Kong’s air quality is pretty mediocre too… ughhhh…

Ethereum is testing the market’s conviction. The next move depends on whether real demand can absorb the selling pressure.
Ethereum has remained under pressure, and the $2,300 support zone has become one of the most important levels to monitor. The recent correction is not simply a story about falling prices. It reflects a broader struggle between sellers reducing exposure and buyers deciding whether current valuations offer enough reason to step in. My view is that a recovery remains possible, but a sustainable reversal needs more than a temporary bounce. Pri

⚡ What is Layer 2? Why can it make on-chain transactions cheaper?
Layer 2 improves blockchain transaction processing capacity through different scaling technologies and may lower users' average transaction costs.
But low fees don't mean there are no risks.
Before using it, keep these four points in mind:
🔹 Understand the technology the network uses.
🔹 Check the cross-chain bridge and withdrawal rules.
🔹 Verify the network and contract where the token is located.
🔹 Don't focus only on speed and fees; pay attention to security mechanisms too.
A truly wise choice isn't just about saving on fe

WCTC S9 officially kicks off today at 16:00, and quite a few clients have been asking me, “Manager, which of the three leaderboards should we target to get the best results?”
Here are some tactical strategies I’ve put together based on data from previous seasons:
1️⃣ If you’re a high-frequency or short-term trader: I recommend teaming up with 4 other short-term traders who share your style. Use high liquidity and turnover to go after the absolute returns leaderboard.
2️⃣ If you’re a trend trader or trade with a large account: You don’t necessarily need to trade at high frequency. Find a few te

According to Korean media reports
The giant that supplies high-bandwidth memory for AI chips

This isn't just some pocket change the company is casually pulling out

What Is a Whitepaper? How to Read and Evaluate a Crypto Project Properly
In the cryptocurrency market, we often see projects publish a document called a Whitepaper. It usually introduces the project’s vision, technical solution, tokenomics, and future development plans.
For people new to Web3, a whitepaper may look highly professional, full of technical terms, economic models, and roadmaps. But there is an important question to consider:
Does a highly professional-looking whitepaper really mean the project is trustworthy?
Not necessarily.
A whitepaper is an important starting point for underst

Where Does DeFi Yield Come From? Understanding the Differences Between Liquidity Mining, Lending, and Staking
In the cryptocurrency market, you may have seen statements like these:
Providing liquidity can earn fees, lending out assets can generate interest, and staking tokens may earn rewards.
These methods are usually associated with DeFi (decentralized finance), but they are not the same mechanism. Their sources of yield differ, and the risks your funds face may also be completely different.
If you focus only on the yield rate without understanding how your funds are being used, it is easy t

I watched that video from Iran. The footage released by the news agency wasn’t long, and the editing was fairly restrained, but its message was clear: it showed the area around nuclear facilities, equipment being moved, and people coming and going—at the very least, signaling that the nuclear program is moving forward again. The restart of the nuclear program isn’t new—the Iran nuclear deal was signed in 2015, the U.S. withdrew in 2018, and negotiations have repeatedly stalled since 2021. That thread has never gone cold. The IAEA’s quarterly reports over the past two years have also repeatedly

What Are Stablecoins? Are They Really Stable?
In the cryptocurrency market, stablecoins are often used for trading, transfers, and asset settlement.
Unlike highly volatile crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, stablecoins are typically pegged to fiat currencies such as the US dollar, with the aim of keeping their prices relatively stable.
But there is an easily overlooked point: relative price stability does not mean an asset is absolutely safe.
I. How Do Stablecoins Work?
Stablecoins typically maintain price stability through different mechanisms, which mainly include the following type
