Gold prices fell rapidly in the early session, hitting an intraday low of $4,386. After the European session opened at 3:30, gold prices then traded sideways within the narrow 4,383–4,403 range, a 20-point fluctuation.
Short-term 15-minute timeframe
The Bollinger Bands are opening and shifting forward. Based on trading patterns, a sharp early-session drop is not a good sign: if Europe does not break the low, the U.S. session will consolidate. If gold prices cannot effectively break above the 4,386 low before the U.S. session opens, they will likely remain in a narrow range after the evening U.S. session opens.
