Zcash is preparing to make its blockchain three times faster through its upcoming NU7 network upgrade.
Developers have selected block 3,543,405 as the planned activation point, expected around November 5.
The upgrade will reduce the time between blocks from 75 seconds to 25 seconds.
That means an exchange requiring three confirmations for a ZEC deposit could potentially reduce the waiting period from nearly four minutes to around 75 seconds.
