David’s Trading Notes
November 3, 2026
Midterm elections today, NFP on Friday. The odds of choppy trading this week are very, very high. Manage your position size: stay light and only trade key levels.
1. Intraday plan $ETH
Today’s intraday plan: favor longs at lower levels, shorts at higher levels
Longs at lower levels | Two levels: 2245 and 2219. Go long after a 5-minute bullish engulfing pattern.
Shorts at higher levels | Purple zone: 2278-86 is a key bull-bear divide. If price fails to break through, go short. No signal, no trade.
Midterm elections + NFP: macro events are packed this week

The Week’s Main Theme: Earnings Reports or Macro Clarity?
The first trading week of November brings an unusually high level of intensity to the market agenda. On one hand, we have earnings reports from tech giants such as Apple, Palantir, AMD, Supermicro, Qualcomm, and Arm; on the other, the U.S. midterm elections and the October employment report are converging on the same calendar week. This presents investors with a natural dilemma: should they focus on company-specific narratives, or wait until the macro-level uncertainty clears? There is no single "correct" answer to this question; howeve

For me, asset security comes first, because trust is the foundation of every exchange. Liquidity comes next, since fast and smooth execution matters in every market condition. Product diversity is also important because it gives users more opportunities to explore and manage their strategies. A great exchange should balance all three! 🚀

$ARIA Price swept liquidity (long stop-loss orders), then quickly returned to the channel. This is a strong buy signal and gives us a clear entry zone. I’ll gradually build a position starting at the current price and continuing up to the retest zone of the short-side price level. If the price forms an entry point below the high, I’ll add to the position when it breaks above the high. Take-profit is set after the 0.15 round-number level is broken. ARIA ARIASetup

ETH (Ether) | November 3 Market Update
Ether has also shown no clear rebound momentum today and is currently consolidating around 2255.
It previously rebounded from around 2172 to near 2310, but continued to pull back after reaching a high, with clear resistance around 2300. The price has now returned to the previous consolidation zone, and the short-term bullish advantage has weakened.
Key levels to watch below: 2240–2220.
If buyers provide solid support around 2240 and the price moves back above 2260, there is still a chance of a short-term rebound.
But if 2240 is breached and the rebound fa

With the market swinging back and forth, it’s easy to lose conviction in a trade, and many people panic when it bounces.
When the trend is downward, a bounce is only a brief recovery. Be patient and hold on—the market will provide the answer.

Australia is touting five million blocked accounts as a child-protection achievement, but now the High Court is asking: Is this legal!
The law took effect last December, requiring ten platforms to keep under-16s out. Nearly five million accounts were blocked first—a figure that looks great as a KPI. But these are accounts, not people: one child may have several accounts, and one account may serve other purposes. Kicking people out first and discussing their rights later is an authoritarian order of operations in itself
