#ETHPullsBack
Ethereum is trying to regain its footing, but the recovery still has something important to prove. The recent selling pressure has exposed a weakness in ETH's market structure, and the question now is whether buyers are finally ready to defend lower prices or whether this is simply a temporary pause before another move down.

ETH is trading around $2,241, with a market capitalization near $273.87 billion and approximately $15.33 billion in 24-hour trading volume. Its recent 24-hour range of $2,183–$2,257 shows that buyers have managed to recover some ground from the lows, but the broader correction remains a concern. A short-term bounce does not automatically mean the market has found its bottom.

One factor I am watching closely is institutional demand. Ethereum spot ETFs have experienced five consecutive sessions of net outflows, with approximately $335 million withdrawn between October 26 and October 30. This suggests that institutional buying interest remains relatively weak. However, ETF flows should be viewed alongside price action rather than treated as a standalone signal.

From a technical perspective, $2,183–$2,200 is the most important immediate demand zone. If buyers defend this region and push ETH above $2,257, the first recovery opportunity could develop towards $2,290–$2,300. A stronger breakout could open the door to $2,360–$2,383, with $2,420–$2,435 becoming the next major resistance area.

The bearish picture becomes stronger if ETH loses $2,183 with convincing selling volume. In that situation, $2,160–$2,178 becomes the next area to monitor, followed by $2,100 and potentially the psychological $2,000 level. These are possible downside zones, not guaranteed targets.

What makes Ethereum interesting is that its long-term fundamentals remain much broader than its current price performance. DeFi, staking, smart contracts and Layer 2 adoption continue to support its ecosystem. However, the market increasingly wants to see how this activity translates into actual economic value for ETH. Lower transaction fees and reduced token burning also make that relationship important.

My approach is cautiously optimistic about a recovery, but I am not ready to call a confirmed bottom. I want to see ETH reclaim $2,300, maintain stronger buying volume and demonstrate that selling pressure is genuinely fading. Until then, chasing a bounce carries unnecessary risk.

My final view: Ethereum is at an important technical turning point. Holding $2,200 could give buyers an opportunity to rebuild momentum, while losing $2,183 could expose the market to another correction. I am watching confirmation rather than predicting direction because the next sustainable move matters far more than a temporary green candle.

The 2,241 level is stuck in the middle; this is the most painful kind of market

This ETH pullback has definitely been nerve-racking; whether 2200 can hold is key

If this demand zone at 2183-2200 breaks, the downside opens up

Chasing the rebound now is definitely too much of a gamble; wait for volume confirmation first

Layer 2 usage is high, but less ETH is being burned, weakening the deflationary narrative

ETFs have seen net outflows for five consecutive days, and institutions’ stance is rather intriguing

The technical analysis is pretty detailed; I’ve had my eye on the 2183 level for a long time

DeFi fundamentals are still intact, but token prices just aren't cooperating. Rough
