WCTC S9 Is Live — My Strategy Is to Trade the Setup, Not the Competition
A trading competition can create pressure to take more trades, increase position sizes, or chase leaderboard rankings. That is exactly when discipline matters most.
With BTC battling around the $80K area and ETH showing weak momentum on my latest chart, I would rather focus on clear setups than force trades just to increase volume.
My BTC watchlist
Resistance: $81,800, then $84,180.
Support: $77,020, followed by $75,700–$75,500.
Momentum: RSI near 41 and negative MACD on my chart suggest that bullish confirmation is still needed.
My ETH watchlist
Price area: around $2,318 on my chart.
Resistance: around $2,566.
Support: $2,327–$2,308, with a lower level near $2,159.
Momentum: RSI near 33 indicates weakness, but oversold conditions alone do not confirm a reversal.
These are levels from my October 26 chart screenshots, not live quotes. I would refresh them before making any trading decision.
How I would approach WCTC S9
Wait for confirmation at important support or resistance.
Define the invalidation level before entering.
Keep risk controlled instead of increasing leverage to chase rankings.
Record both winning and losing trades to learn from the decisions.
Never confuse high trading volume with good trading performance.
The official competition runs from October 26 to November 25, 2026. Its team competition has three leaderboards: overall trading volume, CFD trading volume, and team profit. The advertised team pool can reach 3.2 million USDT, subject to the competition's unlocking rules and eligibility requirements. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee a reward.
My take: The best trading partner is someone who respects risk, follows a plan, and can admit when a setup is invalid. A leaderboard position is temporary; disciplined habits can last much longer.
Your choice: If you were building a WCTC team, would you prioritise BTC and ETH specialists, or traders who can analyse multiple markets?
Not financial advice. Trade responsibly and check the official competition rules before participating.
