#EthereumUpOver71%inQ3

ETH just closed its best Q3 on record, up about 71% (roughly $1,570 on June 30 to $2,685 on Sept 30). That beats the previous record of 66.5% from Q3 2025. Everyone is quoting that number, but I’m more interested in what the chart says now that the quarter is over.

How I read the daily chart:

Price got rejected near 2,819 and is now sitting around 2,500, just under the 50-day MA (~2,556).
RSI is near 41 and MACD is below its signal line. Momentum has cooled, but it hasn’t broken down.
The 99-day (~2,236) and 200-day (~2,134) MAs are far below price and still rising, so the bigger structure is intact.
Levels I’m watching: 2,481 first, then the 2,236 area.

Flows: Spot ETH ETFs saw about $3.1B in net inflows in Q3, reversing the earlier outflows. In early October, though, there were around $118M of outflows over three sessions. Three days is not a trend, but it’s the first crack in the demand story after such a big run.

Context: ETH/BTC also gained around 25% in Q3, so ETH was leading, not just riding the market. Meanwhile BTC RSI is ~52, SOL ~44 and XRP ~44. Nothing looks overheated across the majors.

My view: a 71% quarter followed by a cooldown is normal. The Q3 number alone tells me nothing about Q4. I’m not chasing here. I want to see either a reclaim of 2,556 or a clean hold of 2,481 first. Not financial advice.

Are you buying this pullback, or waiting for 2,556 to flip back into support?
