#USStocksRecordSixthLargestWeeklyInflowSince2008

Bank of America data shows U.S. equities attracted roughly 7 billion dollars in net inflows last week — the sixth-largest weekly print since 2008. Institutions and hedge funds bought for a second consecutive week, with tech leading the flow. Retail investors sold for a sixth straight week. Smart money and retail are once again on opposite sides of the tape.

The divergence is worth watching. When institutions and hedge funds step in while retail continues to lighten exposure, the flow often supports the higher-quality names first. Technology has been the clear recipient this time, which keeps the sector in focus even when broader indices look mixed.

On the 4-hour chart Nvidia is trading near 223.44. Immediate resistance sits near 234.41. Support starts at the 210–218 zone, with the deeper 207–208 area still visible. RSI is at 52.39, neutral, and MACD remains mixed after the recent consolidation. Price is holding the middle of the recent range with no decisive break yet.
The bullish case is a clean hold above the 218–210 support band and a subsequent push through 234. If the institutional inflow into tech continues and the broader risk appetite stays constructive, the path of least resistance can open higher. In that scenario the entire 223–210 region becomes the first support band on any pullback.

The bearish case starts with a failure to hold 210. A break under that level on rising volume would likely target the lower support zone and keep the stock range-bound until the flow picture changes. After a strong multi-month advance, some digestion is normal when weekly inflows remain elevated but concentrated.

I am treating 234 as the near-term upside reference and 210 as the short-term trend filter. The institutional versus retail split is a real positioning signal, yet the chart still has to confirm whether the flow translates into sustained upside. Size stays measured until one of those levels resolves with volume.

Are you following the institutional side of the flow, or staying cautious while retail continues to sell? Share your framing.
