TURN YOUR MARKET VIEW INTO A TRADE
Markets are full of predictions, but a real trading thesis becomes much more meaningful when you are willing to put it into action, explain the reasoning behind it, and review the result afterward. That is the idea behind Gate Square’s Event Contract Trade-Sharing Challenge, running from August 31 to September 10, 2026.
The campaign gives eligible participants an opportunity to combine Event Contract trading with market analysis and community sharing, while also unlocking potential daily rewards.
HOW IT WORKS
The concept is built around a simple trading cycle: develop your market view, choose an Event Contract that matches your thesis, complete the eligible trade, share your position or analysis on Gate Square, and potentially earn rewards.
Eligible Event Contract trading volume can qualify for rewards equivalent to 1% of eligible trading volume. Your first valid trade-sharing post is guaranteed a reward, while additional daily opportunities may include USDT rewards and Event Contract Position Vouchers.
That means your participation is not limited to trading volume. Your analysis and ability to communicate your market view also become part of the experience.
SHARE THE THINKING BEHIND YOUR TRADE
A strong trading post should explain more than whether you are bullish or bearish. You can include your position or settlement screenshot, prediction period, technical setup, market sentiment, trading strategy, and eventually the final outcome.
For example, instead of simply saying that BTC may rise, you can explain why you expect the move, identify the important support or resistance area, define your prediction timeframe, and then use an Event Contract to express that view.
The same approach can be applied to a bearish ETH thesis, a directional view on another asset, or a market expectation based on technical and fundamental developments.
Qualifying posts must contain at least 50 characters and include #GateEventContractChallenge.
WHY THIS MATTERS
The biggest value of this format is that it turns an opinion into something that can be measured.
You are not only making a prediction. You are building a thesis, taking a position based on that thesis, documenting your reasoning, and then comparing your expectation with the actual market outcome.
A successful trade can show which parts of your analysis worked. A losing trade can reveal where the thesis, timing or risk management needs improvement.
That learning process is just as important as the reward itself.
TRADE WITH DISCIPLINE
The reward opportunity should never become the reason to take unnecessary risk. Event Contracts remain exposed to market volatility, and conditions can change rapidly during major economic announcements, unexpected news, liquidations or sudden shifts in sentiment.
The smarter approach is to understand the contract first, define your timeframe, establish a clear market thesis and manage your exposure before entering a position.
A prediction is never a guarantee.
THE REAL CHALLENGE
This campaign brings together trading, analysis, content and community participation in one framework.
Think through the market.
Trade the thesis.
Share the reasoning.
Review the outcome.
Improve the next decision.
The goal is not to pretend that every prediction will be correct. The goal is to make your market views more structured, your trading process more transparent, and every outcome more useful for the next opportunity.
Gate’s Event Contract Trade-Sharing Challenge is therefore more than a reward campaign. It is an opportunity to turn market opinions into documented trading ideas while potentially earning eligible rewards along the way.
Make your call. Put your thesis to the test. Share the result.
