Robinhood Chain has recorded around $2.66M in 24-hour app revenue, compared with roughly $1.28M for Ethereum during the same period. That puts the young network at more than 2x Ethereum on this specific metric.
But there is an important detail: this is application revenue generated by apps on the chain, not necessarily revenue going directly to Robinhood itself. The majority also came from trading activity, particularly memecoin-focused applications, while tokenized stocks remain an important longer-term part of Robinhood’s original vision.
For me, this highlights how quickly competition in digital finance is evolving.
And that brings me to Gate Card.
If Gate were to theoretically increase Gate Card rewards or benefits by 3x, I believe the impact could be significant for users who already use crypto for everyday spending.
For example, a hypothetical 1% reward becoming 3% would turn 10 USDT of rewards on 1,000 USDT eligible spending into 30 USDT. At 5,000 USDT spending, it would theoretically become 150 USDT instead of 50 USDT.
The real question is not simply the percentage. I would look at reward limits, eligible transactions, fees, usability and overall card utility.
My opinion: as blockchain platforms compete to capture more users and transaction activity, crypto cards also need stronger utility. A genuine 3x Gate Card upgrade could make the product more competitive if higher rewards come together with better everyday functionality.
