🔥 NVIDIA Earnings Analysis: Can NVDA Reclaim $230 and Move Toward $250+?
NVIDIA has delivered another powerful earnings report, and the numbers explain why traders are still paying close attention to $NVDA. Quarterly revenue reached $96.2 billion, up 106% year over year and 18% from the previous quarter.
Data Center revenue reached $89 billion, up 117% year over year, while adjusted EPS came in at $2.22. Gross margin remained strong at 75%. NVIDIA also guided for approximately $108 billion in revenue for the next quarter, keeping the AI growth story firmly in focus.
The important question now is not whether NVIDIA delivered strong earnings — it clearly did. The real question is whether the stock can convert those fundamentals into another sustained upside move after the initial earnings reaction.
Current NVDA price is around $217.55. The stock recently traded as high as $229.19 before pulling back sharply, showing that sellers are still active around the $227-$230 region. This creates an important battle zone for the next session. If buyers regain control and push price back above $230 with strong volume, the next upside levels I would watch are $240, $250 and then $260-$270. A sustained breakout above $250 would significantly strengthen the bullish structure.
My base-case forecast is cautiously bullish. If NVDA holds above $215-$217 and demand returns, a recovery toward $230-$240 is realistic first. A clean break above $240 could open the door toward $250, while a strong continuation above $250 could bring $260-$270 into focus. This is a forecast scenario, not a guarantee, because post-earnings volatility can remain extremely high.
The most important support zone for me is $215-$217. If buyers defend this area, it can become the foundation for the next rebound. Below that, $210 is the next psychological support, followed by $205 and then the $200 level. A daily close below $200 would weaken the short-term bullish setup and could signal that the market needs a deeper correction before another major move.
Resistance is equally important. $227-$230 is the first major barrier because the recent high was close to $229. If price breaks and holds above $230, momentum traders may target $240. Above $240, $250 becomes the major psychological resistance. A breakout above $250 with strong volume would make $260-$270 the next important upside zone.
Trading strategy: I would not chase a large green candle simply because the earnings numbers were excellent. The better approach is to watch how price behaves around support and resistance. Aggressive traders can look for confirmation near $215-$217 if buyers step in. A safer momentum setup would be waiting for a confirmed move above $230 and then watching whether $230 turns into support. If the breakout fails and price falls back below $215, patience becomes more important than forcing a trade.
My example risk plan would be: SL1 around $212, SL2 around $205 and SL3 around $199 depending on entry and risk tolerance. Potential upside targets are TP1 $230, TP2 $240, TP3 $250, with $260-$270 as an extended target if momentum remains exceptionally strong. These levels are scenario-based trading references, not guaranteed outcomes.
What are traders thinking right now? The fundamental camp remains strongly bullish because NVIDIA is still showing extraordinary AI infrastructure demand. Revenue growth of 106%, Data Center growth of 117% and the $108 billion next-quarter revenue outlook provide powerful fundamental support. NVIDIA also says demand is accelerating, while its AI ecosystem continues expanding across hyperscalers, enterprises and AI labs.
However, traders also have to respect valuation, expectations and macro conditions. NVIDIA is already one of the largest companies in the world, so the market expects exceptional execution. Even excellent earnings can produce short-term selling when traders lock in profits. The recent move above $227 followed by a sharp retreat toward the $217 area is a good reminder that strong fundamentals do not eliminate volatility.
Market sentiment is therefore bullish on fundamentals but cautious on price action. The earnings story is strong, but the technical picture needs confirmation. If NVDA reclaims $230, sentiment could quickly shift toward aggressive bullish momentum. If it remains below $230 and loses $215, traders may become more defensive and look for $210-$205.
My next plan is simple: watch $215-$217 first, then $230. Above $230, I would watch $240 and $250. Below $215, I would avoid chasing longs and monitor $210, $205 and $200. The market needs to prove direction through price and volume rather than headlines alone.
One more important catalyst is NVIDIA's forward growth. The company expects approximately $108 billion in next-quarter revenue, while its longer-term outlook remains exceptionally strong. That means the AI growth narrative is not based only on the quarter that has already finished; investors are also pricing future demand.
For Gate Square traders, this is exactly the kind of market where disciplined planning matters. Strong earnings can create opportunity, but volatility can punish emotional entries. My bullish scenario is a successful defense of $215-$217 followed by a reclaim of $230, opening $240-$250 and potentially $260-$270. My bearish scenario is a sustained break below $215, which could send price toward $210-$205 and potentially $200.
I am watching the $230 breakout very closely. If buyers reclaim that level with strong volume, the next phase of the NVIDIA trend could become much more interesting.

Posting NVIDIA analysis on Gate Square and going live can provide opportunities for higher $NVDA rewards. Users following trades worth 500 USDT or more may also have a chance to receive 0.5 $NVDA according to the campaign terms.
The key idea: NVIDIA's earnings are extremely strong, but the next move will depend on whether buyers can turn the $215-$217 support area into a launchpad and reclaim $230. For me, $230 is the immediate trigger, $240-$250 are the next targets, and $260-$270 is the higher bullish zone if momentum accelerates.
