#Gate7DayNetInflowsTop3
Gate recorded another strong week of capital inflows and the numbers place the platform inside the global top three once again. DefiLlama data shows more than 201 million dollars in net inflows over the past seven days. The same snapshot lists coverage across more than 150 countries and a user base above 59 million. The figures are current as of August 28.
What stands out is the consistency. Earlier in the cycle, when Bitcoin and Ethereum made their sharp upward moves, Gate’s spot and futures volume metrics also sat inside the top three across the market. Positive net flows during both quiet periods and high-volatility sessions usually point to the same thing: traders are treating the platform as primary liquidity rather than a secondary venue.
I have been watching the inflow trend for several weeks. Single-week prints can be noisy, but repeated top-three rankings start to change the practical experience on the platform. Order books refill faster, spreads stay tighter on a wider range of pairs, and larger size can be moved with less slippage. That is the part that actually affects day-to-day trading.
Of course inflows alone do not dictate price direction. They do, however, alter the texture of the tape. When capital is arriving rather than rotating out, the market tends to absorb shocks more cleanly. My own activity has stayed focused on the majors and a small set of higher-volume names where that depth is most visible.
Curious where the rest of you have been allocating in this latest wave. Have the inflows shown up more clearly in spot, in perpetual futures, or in the newer short-term contract products? Drop your observations.
