Event Contracts and 1% Bonus: Info-First Guide

Event contract is one of the most talked about products of recent weeks. Idea is simple: you take a Yes or No view on a real world outcome. If outcome happens, contract pays 1 unit. If not, it pays zero.

Price shows chance. High Yes price means crowd sees high odds for that outcome. Low Yes price means crowd sees low odds.

What Does 1% Bonus Give?

Rule is clear: on winning side you get 1% extra pay. So you get 1.01 unit instead of 1 unit. No extra on losing side, only winner gets extra.

Bonus looks small, but for info-driven trader it adds up. Event contract is already high hit-rate area, small extra builds over time.

There is daily cap per user and pool cap. When pool fills, promo ends. So early join helps.

Types Of Event Contracts

Three main groups.

One, price level: will BTC close above a given level, will ETH print above a line. This group sees most volume.

Two, macro and rate: will Fed cut this month, will inflation print above line. This group stays active even when crypto is quiet.

Three, token and project level: will ENA go above a level, will USDe supply cross a line. This group works well when you back it with on-chain data.

How To Build Info-First Method

Focus on data, not on loud talk.

First, check source. For price level, which index, which close time, which time zone is used. For macro, when is data print, how is revision handled. Those details decide win.

Second, look at depth. Thin book can show false price, deep book shows fair odds. If depth is low, avoid large size, slippage grows.

Third, filter news flow. Do not trade on one headline, look for three separate proof points. ETF flow, funding rate, open interest often drive event price in indirect way.

Fourth, pick time frame. Short dated contract is news driven, long dated is trend driven. Short term has more noise, long term lets info shine.

Why This Product Stands Out?

No leverage, no wipe risk, just Yes or No. Simple form helps new user learn fast. It can be used both for hedge and for view. For example, spot holder can take opposite side for short term risk to hedge book.

Points To Watch

Rule must be clear. Does "above" include equal, what time is used for check, this decides win. So read rule text.

Do not trade with mood. If price is 0.90, crowd sees 90% odds, upside from buying Yes is tiny, risk is high. Value often sits where price is 0.55 to 0.75.

Trade before pool cap fills, or bonus ends.

In short, event contract plus 1% bonus is simple, clear and measurable. For user who cares about source, depth and real data, not just loud call, it gives more solid field over long run.
