#Gate7DayNetInflowsTop3
7 Day Net Inflows Top 3: Where Fresh Capital Moves Now
Last 7 days saw net inflow of $312 million across spot wallets, with top 3 coins taking 68% of flow. Data is from a leading venue with over $8.2 billion reserve.
Top 3 by net inflow:
1. BTC: +$142 million, +1,748 BTC
BTC price held above $81k, with $79k floor tested twice. Net inflow of 1,748 BTC shows buy on dip, not sell. 61% of inflow came from whale wallet above $1 million, 39% from retail. BTC hold on venue rose 1.2% week over week to 38,420 BTC. With M2 growth at 4.5% year over year, fastest in four years, and US federal debt above $40 trillion, BTC as hard asset draws bid. Gold above $2,650 and 10-year yield near 4.70% adds to same trade.
2. ETH: +$48 million, +19,100 ETH
ETH inflow +19,100 ETH with price above $2,500. 52% of inflow went to Earn at 6% to 8% yield, 31% to spot hold, 17% to margin long. ETH gas fee fell to 12 gwei, which helps on-chain move. With ETH ETF net inflow of 3,200 ETH per day last week, spot venue inflow mirrors ETF flow. On-chain burn was 4,200 ETH, so net supply still tight.
3. USDT: +$22 million
USDT net inflow +$22 million, with $18 million via TRC20 and $4 million via ERC20. USDT inflow often leads BTC buy 24h to 48h later. Past 90 days, when USDT inflow tops $20 million in 7 days, BTC rose 7.3% on average in next 14 days. Stable coin reserve on venue now at $1.8 billion, up 1.2% week over week.
What Top 3 Tells
Flow is risk-on but selective. BTC and ETH take 61% of inflow, alt outside top 20 only 12%. No large outflow seen in SOL, XRP, or DOGE. SOL even saw +$8.3 million inflow, just outside top 3.
Whale vs retail split: whale drove BTC, retail drove USDT. That mix often marks early leg of rally, not top.
Hold vs trade: 41% of inflow went to flexible save at 6% to 12% yield, 38% to spot hold, 21% to futures margin. Hold ratio 79%, which limits near-term sell pressure.
Watch: if BTC inflow stays above $100 million next 7 days and USDT inflow stays above $15 million, $86k to $90k path stays open with $79k floor. If BTC inflow flips to -$50 million, $75k test risk rises.
