#NVIDIAEarnings
NVIDIA is heading into earnings and the daily chart is sitting in a quiet but loaded spot. Price closed at 209.95 after a 1.42 percent pullback, right around the 50-day EMA at 210.53. The 200-day EMA is still well below at 194.80, so the longer-term trend remains constructive even if the short-term tape has cooled.
Bollinger Bands are showing the middle line near 215.59 with the upper band at 231.68 and the lower at 199.50. That puts the current level almost dead in the middle of the band, which usually means the market is waiting for a catalyst rather than trending hard in either direction. Overhead, the red resistance lines and S&R levels cluster around 231.68 to 236.26. Below, the first real support shelf sits at 199.50, then 194.80 and the lower break level at 190.01.
RSI is hovering at 46.57, neither overbought nor oversold, and MACD is still slightly negative on the histogram with the signal lines close together. Nothing here screams immediate direction. It just looks like a coiled spring before the numbers drop.
The fundamental side is hard to ignore. The Q2 revenue figure of 96.2 billion, more than doubling year over year, sets an extremely high bar. Markets already know the AI demand story, so the real question becomes guidance and margins more than the headline beat. If the company continues to show accelerating data-center growth and holds or raises the outlook, the path of least resistance is a retest of that 231–236 zone. A clean break and hold above 231.68 would open the door toward the previous swing highs near 236.26 and potentially higher once momentum kicks in.
The other side is equally straightforward. Any sign of slowing growth, softer guidance, or margin pressure could send price quickly back toward the lower Bollinger Band at 199.50. A decisive daily close under that level would bring the 200-day EMA at 194.80 into play, and below that the 190 area becomes the next logical support. Volume has been quiet on this recent dip, so any post-earnings selling would likely expand fast.
Right now I am treating the 210–215 zone as the pivot. Holding above the 50-day EMA keeps the bullish structure intact. Losing it on volume would shift the bias lower until proven otherwise. I am not forcing a directional bet ahead of the print. The chart is balanced and the event risk is high enough that waiting for the reaction feels cleaner than guessing the number.
Whatever the outcome, this is one of those weeks where the tape will tell us quickly whether the AI narrative still has fuel or whether the market wants a pause. I will be watching the open after the release and the first 30–60 minutes of price action for confirmation either way.
Curious how others are positioning into this one. Are you leaning long into the print, staying flat, or looking for a fade? Drop your levels or thought process below.
