🔥 The #CandyDrop comeback event is live, and this time the reward opportunity is directly connected to trading activity.

Market conditions are recovering, and Gate has launched a special comeback campaign designed specifically for existing users. The headline reward is a shared 1 BTC prize pool, with a very low participation threshold that makes the event particularly interesting for traders who are already active in the market.

The event runs from August 25, 18:00 to September 8, 18:00 (UTC+8), giving eligible users two full weeks to participate.

The most important part for me is the simple requirement:

Accumulate at least 1 USDT of trading volume in any token contract, including both opening and closing the position, and you can receive 1 Candy instantly.

There is no large minimum trading requirement, which means the campaign is more accessible than events that require substantial volume before rewards become available.

However, there is one important eligibility condition that traders should check before participating:

Only users who registered before August 25, 2026, at 00:00 (UTC+8) are eligible.

So this is specifically a comeback opportunity for existing users rather than a campaign designed for newly registered accounts.

For me, the interesting part of #CandyDrop is the combination of a low threshold and a broader market recovery.

BTC has recently pushed back above the $80K–$81K area, while ETH is trading around the $2,500 region, so the market is once again providing more trading opportunities across major assets.

But my approach would still be the same:

I would not trade simply to collect a reward.

The best strategy is to participate only when the trade itself makes sense.

If I am already planning to open and close a BTC or ETH position, then reaching the minimum eligible volume can be a useful additional benefit.

For BTC, I am currently watching the $80K–$81K support zone.

If BTC holds above this area and breaks $82K–$83K, my next targets are:

$85K → $88K–$90K → $95K → $100K

If BTC instead pulls back toward $78K–$79K, I would wait for buyers to confirm support before entering.

A deeper correction toward $75K–$76K would become another important area on my watchlist.

For ETH, I am watching $2,500 closely.

A successful break above $2,550 could open the way toward:

$2,600 → $2,700 → $2,800 → $3,000

If ETH loses $2,500, I would watch $2,400–$2,450 for potential support.

This is how I would combine the event with my normal trading plan.

I would never increase my position size or use excessive leverage simply because an event is offering rewards.

The reward is an extra benefit.

Risk management remains the priority.

One of the biggest lessons from my own trading experience is that chasing a small reward with a large position can completely destroy the purpose of the campaign. If the market is volatile, a poorly planned trade can lose far more than the value of the reward.

So my plan is simple:

Trade only when I already have a valid setup.

Keep position size under control.

Use a clear entry and invalidation level.

Complete both the opening and closing part of the trade if I am participating for the Candy reward.

Avoid unnecessary overtrading.

And never sacrifice capital protection for a promotion.

The event period is also long enough that I would not feel pressured to trade immediately after the campaign starts.

From August 25 to September 8, there will be plenty of market opportunities.

If BTC gives a clean breakout, I can participate.

If BTC gives a healthy pullback, I can participate.

If ETH provides a better setup, I can trade ETH instead.

And if there is no attractive setup, I would simply wait.

For me, that is the biggest advantage of having a two-week event window: there is no reason to force a trade on the first day.

My current market plan

BTC: Watch $80K–$81K → confirmation above $82K–$83K → targets $85K, $90K, $95K and potentially $100K.

ETH: Watch $2,500 → breakout above $2,550 → targets $2,600, $2,700, $2,800 and potentially $3,000.

BTC pullback: $78K–$79K first, $75K–$76K deeper support.

ETH pullback: $2,400–$2,450 first, $2,300–$2,350 deeper support.

My current market bias is cautiously bullish, but I still prefer confirmation over FOMO.

The #CandyDrop event gives existing users another reason to stay active during the recovery, but I see the reward as a bonus rather than the main reason to trade.

The real objective is still the same:

Find a good setup → control risk → execute the plan → take profit when the target is reached.

If the trade is already justified, earning Candy alongside it is an additional advantage.

If there is no setup, there is no need to manufacture one just for a reward.

That is how I would approach this event.

Existing users who meet the registration requirement can participate from August 25, 18:00 to September 8, 18:00 (UTC+8), with a minimum accumulated trading volume of 1 USDT in any token contract to receive 1 Candy.

The market is recovering.

The opportunity is live.

But my rule remains unchanged:

Trade the setup, not the promotion.
