Ethereum treasury company BitMine added 32,447 $ETH ETH to its treasury last week. This was the company's largest weekly purchase since early July.

With a total ETH holding of 5.85 million ETH, BitMine now holds approximately 4.8% of the Ethereum supply. At current prices, its total asset value is approximately $14.6 billion. The company has been making regular weekly ETH purchases as part of its treasury strategy, which began in June 2025.

BitMine President Tom Lee stated that the 30% increase in ETH last week may not be over yet. Lee recalled that ETH showed similar weekly performances in July 2021 and May 2025, followed by additional increases of 167% and 170% respectively.

The company currently stakes 5.07 million ETH, representing approximately 87% of its ETH holdings. With current yield rates, these staking operations are expected to generate approximately $330 million in annual revenue.

Tom Lee predicts that the ETH/BTC pair will continue to rise. He bases this view on Wall Street's shift towards asset tokenization and the increasing use of blockchain technology by AI agents. BitMine plans to reach its target 5% supply by adding approximately 187,000 more ETH.

For Gate users: BitMine's level of institutional ETH demand is an indicator of long-term confidence in the Ethereum ecosystem. The $330 million in annual revenue from staked assets demonstrates that ETH is not just an investment vehicle but also a productive asset. The company's approach to its 5% supply target and Tom Lee's optimistic stance on the ETH/BTC pair suggest that institutional capital's interest in Ethereum may continue.
