#ETHBreaks2400
The daily chart finally cleared 2,400 with conviction.
ETH has extended the recent strength, printing a high above 2,460 before settling near 2,452. The short moving average has risen to 2,238, the 50-period sits much lower at 1,935, and the upper Bollinger Band is now at 2,526. RSI has reached 77.90 on the daily — clearly elevated but not yet at the most extreme readings we have seen in previous cycles. Volume expanded on the breakout leg and MACD has turned firmly positive.
2,400 was the first logical extension target after the prior consolidation. Holding this zone on a daily closing basis would keep the path toward 2,500 and the upper band near 2,530 open. The speed of the advance shows that buyers were willing to step in once the level broke.
Bullish scenario stays straightforward: as long as daily closes remain above 2,400 and the short moving average continues to rise, the next measured objective sits in the 2,500–2,530 region. A sustained hold would confirm that the breakout has been accepted rather than rejected.
Pullback scenario cannot be dismissed after such a sharp daily RSI rise. If price loses 2,400 on a closing basis and slips back toward the 2,200–2,240 area (near the short average), the move would simply be undergoing a normal retest of the breakout level. That would not necessarily end the larger advance; it would only reset the short-term overbought condition.
I am treating the daily break of 2,400 as significant because it occurred with expanding volume and a clear shift in structure. At the same time the RSI reading argues against aggressively chasing at current prices. The more practical approach is to watch how the market treats 2,400 on any retest. Acceptance turns it into support; rejection turns it into a temporary high.
Did you add on the break of 2,400 itself, or are you waiting to see whether the level holds on the first pullback?
