#BTCETHReboundTradeIdeas
BTC up roughly 7%, ETH up 18%. Both daily charts now sit in the same awkward spot.
BTC is trading near 76,129 after the strong advance, with RSI at 75.94 and the short moving average at 69,906. ETH is near 2,375, RSI at 73.25, short average at 2,165. In both cases the daily candles show clear impulsive strength followed by the first signs of hesitation. Volume expanded on the way up and MACD has turned positive. The market has already paid the early participants. The practical question is what to do next.
Three approaches remain on the table.
Chase the continuation only if you believe the current pullback is minor and the higher-timeframe structure will hold. That requires price to stay above the recent breakout zones and for volume to return on any renewed push. The risk is buying into already elevated daily RSI readings.
Wait for a cleaner pullback. This is the more measured route. A controlled retest of the mid-70k area on BTC or the 2,200–2,300 zone on ETH would offer better risk-reward if demand still appears. Many prefer this because it lets the market prove the move was not solely short-covering.
Fade the extension. Only for those who view the daily RSI levels as unsustainable. That approach needs clear invalidation and tight risk, because fading strong momentum without confirmation can be costly.
My own preference remains the middle path. The advances were real and participation was strong, yet both RSI readings are high enough that a period of digestion is the more probable near-term outcome. I want to see how price behaves when it retests the levels that were resistance only days ago before adding further risk.
If you already have a concrete plan — entry zone, invalidation, and target — share it. Quality analysis is being highlighted and three creators will receive Gate merch. Specific levels and clear reasoning make the discussion useful for everyone.
