#BTCBreaks$75k Is $75K the New Launchpad?

$BTC
Yesterday, Bitcoin was around $69,000, and today the market is talking about $75,000 again. BTC has moved with impressive speed, briefly trading above $75,500 and gaining roughly 18% over the past week. This is exactly the kind of move that reminds me why chasing candles can be dangerous, even when the overall trend looks strongly bullish.

From my experience, the most important part of a breakout is not simply seeing BTC cross a psychological level like $75K. I want to see whether buyers can actually defend that level after the excitement cools down. The recent rally has also been supported by a major short squeeze, with more than $4 billion in bearish crypto positions liquidated over two days. That creates powerful upward momentum, but it also means part of the move has been mechanically amplified by forced buying.

My current view is bullish, but disciplined. I see $75,000 as the first major confirmation zone rather than a level where I would blindly chase. If BTC can hold above $75K and establish strong support there, my next upside zone is around $76,000–$78,000 (+1.3% to +4.0%). A clean breakout through that area could open the door toward $80,000–$82,000 (+6.7% to +9.3%). If momentum remains extremely strong, $85,000 (+13.3%) becomes a realistic medium-term target. These are my trading scenarios, not guaranteed outcomes.

At the same time, I am watching the downside very carefully. My first pullback zone is $72,000–$73,500 (-4.0% to -2.0% from $75K). A healthy retest and recovery from this area would actually make me more comfortable with a continuation trade. Below that, $69,000–$70,000 (-8.0% to -6.7%) becomes an important demand area. BTC recently moved from roughly $64,100 to above $75K in only a few sessions, so a cooling-off period would be completely normal rather than automatically bearish.

My Trading Plan

Plan A — Breakout: If BTC gets a convincing close above $75,500 and then successfully retests $75K as support, I would consider a small long position. My initial targets would be $77,000 (+2.7%), $80,000 (+6.7%), and then $82,000 (+9.3%).

Plan B — Pullback: If BTC rejects $75K and retraces toward $72K–$73.5K, I would rather wait for stabilization and confirmation before entering. This gives me a better risk-to-reward setup than buying after a vertical candle.

Plan C — Profit Protection: If I already hold BTC from lower levels, I would consider taking partial profits around major resistance instead of closing everything at once. For example, I would rather secure some gains near $75K–$78K and keep a smaller position open for a potential move toward $80K–$85K.

Plan D — Breakdown: If BTC loses $69K with strong selling pressure, I would become much more cautious. I would reduce leverage, protect capital, and wait for a new structure instead of trying to catch every falling candle.

Where Do I Think BTC Goes Next?

My base case is that $75K becomes a battle zone, not necessarily the final destination. If buyers successfully convert $75K into support, I believe BTC can attempt $78K → $80K → $82K, with $85K as a stronger upside target if momentum continues.

But my biggest lesson from trading is simple: being bullish does not mean buying every green candle. The best trade is the one where the entry, invalidation level, and target are clear before entering.

So my next move is not blind chasing. I prefer confirmation above $75K or a controlled pullback into support. Capital protection comes first, and profits should be managed systematically.

My roadmap:
$75K → confirmation
$78K → first upside target
$80K → psychological target
$82K → momentum target
$85K → extended bullish target

For the downside:
$73.5K → first pullback watch
$72K → key short-term support
$70K → major psychological zone
$69K → important trend-defense area

Bitcoin has shown that the market can move much faster than expected. Now the real question is whether $75K becomes the new floor or simply another resistance zone.

My answer: I stay bullish above $75K, but I refuse to let FOMO control my entries.

What is your strategy — chase the breakout, wait for the pullback, or take partial profits?
