🚨 The Ethereum Foundation has just launched Platåberget, a new testnet designed to test the first components of Glamsterdam under public conditions.
This step allows Ethereum developers and clients to test protocol changes in a shared environment before their broader deployment.
The next milestone is set for August 20, with the Platåberget fork scheduled to take place.
Glamsterdam is expected to continue Ethereum’s evolution by working notably on efficiency, scalability, and the protocol’s internal operations before its future arrival on the mainnet.
