To be alive, naturally there is death, and everyone will sooner or later face death. When we are still alive, we can deal with death in two ways: ignore death, or face our own death, by clear thinking on death to reduce the pain that death may bring. However, neither of these methods can truly overcome death.
As a Buddhist, I consider death to be a normal process. As long as I am still alive on this earth, death is inevitable. Once I realize that I cannot escape death, there is nothing to worry about. I prefer to see death as similar to wearing out clothes and needing to change into new ones, rather than an endpoint. However, death is still unpredictable: we do not know when or how we will die. Therefore, it is necessary for us to make some preparations before death actually occurs.
