The Ethereum network reached the highest daily address growth in 27 months with 206,290 new wallets between January 24-25.

According to on-chain data and analysis platform Santiment, the Ethereum network saw a growth not seen in 27 months, with 206,290 new addresses created between January 24-25. This record marked the highest daily wallet creation count since October 8, 2022.
During a period of fluctuations in the Ethereum price and a prevailing negative sentiment in the market, this unusual movement on the network is attracting attention. Especially occurring at a time when other altcoins are outperforming Ethereum, it signals important growth potential for the network.
DeFi and Staking keep the network alive
One of the main reasons behind Ethereum's high address growth is the prominence of DeFi (decentralized finance) and staking opportunities. These dynamics, which ensure active participation on the Ethereum network, further solidify its leadership in the total non-empty address count in the industry.
This growth trend proves that Ethereum is not just about a price movement, but also continues to expand its infrastructure and use cases.
