BNB Chain released its annual report for 2024, showing the latest developments and data in the ecosystem and technology. The report reveals that in 2024, BNB Chain continues to advance the multi-chain development strategy of One BNB, which includes BSC, opBNB, and Greenfield. opBNB achieved a breakthrough expansion capability of 4600 TPS per second and 100 million Gas Limit per second, and introduced parallel EVM. The storage chain Greenfield launched important updates such as Hulunbeier, Ural, and Pawnee, and launched Greendrive. It currently supports more than 30 public datasets and has improved the user interface. In terms of ecology, the daily active users of OP BNB reached 4.7 million, and BSC reached 1.12 million. The number of independent addresses of BSC rose by 17.7% to 486 million compared to last year. The total value locked (TVL) rose by 58.2% to 5.5 billion U.S. dollars compared to last year, and the TVL of OP BNB rose by 27.6% to 19.2 million U.S. dollars. In terms of transaction volume, the average daily number of transactions on BSC is 4 million, rising by 2.5%; the average daily transaction volume of OP BNB reaches 7.1 million, with fees as low as $0.001. In terms of security, the number of security incidents on BNBChain has decreased by 66% compared to last year, and the amount of risk losses has decreased by 67% (from $162 million to $53 million).
