The Parable of Two Traders

In a bustling city, there lived two traders. One of them, named Haste, ran to the market every day, buying coins when everyone shouted about rising prices and selling them in panic when the prices began to fall. His shop was always empty, and his pockets were either overflowing or completely bare.
The other trader, named Patience, was never in a rush. He observed the market, studied where true value lay, and bought coins when the market was quiet, and everyone else was filled with doubt. He held onto them, trusting in their future.
Time passed, and Haste was left with nothing, weary and disheartened. Meanwhile, Patience became a wealthy man, though his wealth was not only in gold but in wisdom.
When students asked Patience:
— How did you succeed?
He replied:
— The market is like the sea. Haste drowns in its waves, but Patience waits for the tide.
