LAST MINUTE. It Turns Out That The SEC Is Secretly Investigating NFT-Focused Altcoin!
The documents revealed that the SEC secretly investigated Dapper Labs, which issued FLOW last year.
According to a report shared by Fortune, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is reportedly secretly investigating Dapper Labs.
The filing, which the SEC calls its closing report, did not provide any explanation as to why or when the investigation began, but noted that the process was completed in September last year.
A spokesperson for Dapper Labs stated that the SEC has never contacted them about such an investigation and that they are not aware of it:
"We were never contacted by the SEC and therefore had no knowledge of this investigation. Be that as it may, it's clear that the SEC has closed the case."
Dapper Labs, which attracted attention by issuing FLOW and NBA Top Shot NFTs, attracted the attention of many investors, especially in the last bull market.
