List of DePIN Track Projects
Author: Messari, translation: Golden Finance xiaozou
DePIN is a decentralized network that uses tokens to incentivize the construction of real-world infrastructure.
While the supply-side network expansion has been successful, the demand side is still struggling due to the lack of user-friendly tools and interfaces for the network.
DePIN Economic Flywheel can be divided into the following 4 steps:
Motivate supply-side participants
Attract developers, builders and end users
Increased structural requirements
Value capture
We can now divide DePIN into two main sub-networks (instead of four distinct networks): **Physical Resource Network (PRN) and Digital Resource Network (DRN). **
The PRN network incentivizes participants to leverage location-related hardware to deliver real, unique goods and services such as energy, geospatial data, and connectivity. On the other hand, the DRN network encourages participants to use hardware to provide interchangeable digital resources.
