Unpacking Gate’s Q2 2026 Report, From Global Stock Listing to an Increasingly Mature Multi-Asset Ecosystem

Gate has officially released their Q2 2026 performance report, and it’s far thicker than just the short highlights commonly circulating on social media. Throughout the April to June period, this exchange completed one of the most ambitious transformations in its history—from a pure crypto exchange into an integrated financial platform that fully bridges crypto assets with traditional financial markets.

Core Achievements That Shape This Quarter’s Foundation

Gate’s user base has now officially surpassed fifty-eight million registered accounts, supported by more than four thousand eight hundred crypto assets and more than twelve thousand five hundred stocks and ETFs, covering a global trading ecosystem spanning equities, ETFs, foreign exchange, metals, indices, commodities, and crypto assets all on a single integrated platform.

What makes this quarter special is that Gate has officially launched stock trading services across three of the world’s major exchanges—United States, Hong Kong, and South Korea—with trading support of twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Unlike tokenized stocks that have been widely circulating on other crypto exchanges, Gate offers real stock access through officially licensed broker partners, not just synthetic derivatives.

Stock Trading Launch Details, Real Services Not Just Tokens

The launch rolls out in phases throughout the quarter. On June 1, Gate opened access to trade US stocks and ETFs, supporting more than ten thousand instruments from major exchanges such as NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, and BATS. Then on June 15, Hong Kong stocks were officially opened, expanding to more than one thousand five hundred stocks by June 18. The expansion series concluded on June 22 with the launch of South Korean stocks, covering the top one thousand companies by market capitalization on Korea Exchange.

Users can directly trade stocks using USDT without needing to open a separate overseas broker account—an approach that significantly reduces barriers to global investing for retail users across different countries.

Pre IPO and IPO Access, In Demand Beyond Expectations

One of the most notable achievements comes from the Pre IPO and IPO Access business lines newly introduced this quarter. Total subscriptions for Pre IPO for SpaceX broke through three hundred ninety-six million US dollars, while IPO Access collected more than one hundred forty-three million US dollars. The extremely strong demand even led Gate to close the IPO Access subscription window earlier than the original schedule, due to demand that exceeded expectations.

Gate also completed the SpaceX stock split with a one-to-five ratio, a move that caused the SPCX asset certificate price to briefly touch a highest level of two hundred US dollars, recording a maximum gain of 69.49% since the start of subscriptions.

Gate CFD Surges Into a Full TradFi Ecosystem

Gate CFD’s business line saw a significant transformation this quarter, evolving from a mere crypto derivative into a comprehensive TradFi CFD platform covering equities, indices, precious metals, foreign exchange, and energy. By the end of the quarter, Gate CFD supported six hundred sixty-three tradable assets, and its weekly trading volume at one point peaked above one hundred fifty billion US dollars.

It’s important to note that the figure of one hundred fifty billion US dollars here refers to weekly volume in the billions scale, not millions—since Gate CFD’s business scale has grown so large compared with the initial forecasts of many market observers.

Gate Wealth, One Platform for All Asset Classes

In June, Gate officially launched Gate Wealth, a global wealth management brand integrating cross-crypto asset allocation, global equities, ETFs, and real-world assets within a unified framework. The service targets both high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, covering custody, OTC block trading, crypto-asset-backed financing, and private banking services such as family trusts and cross-border tax planning—marking Gate’s step to transform from just a trading platform into a globally integrated financial services provider.

Financial Health and Reserve Transparency

By the end of June, Gate’s total reserves were recorded at eighty point eight-two billion US dollars, with an overall reserve ratio of fifteen percent, far above the industry’s safe threshold of one hundred percent. The breakdown of core assets shows that user BTC holdings rose from seventeen thousand two hundred sixteen to nineteen thousand fifty-four BTC, supported by the platform’s reserves of twenty-five thousand two hundred ninety-two BTC—equivalent to a reserve ratio of more than twenty-three point seventy-three percent. Users’ ETH holdings reached three hundred forty-four thousand nine hundred thirty-five ETH, supported by reserves of four hundred twenty-three thousand nine hundred sixty ETH.

Throughout this quarter, more than two point five seven million GT were officially burned, bringing total accumulated burn to nearly one hundred ninety million GT, equivalent to about sixty-three point thirty-two percent of the total initial token supply of three hundred million tokens, with an estimated cumulative value of the burned tokens exceeding one point three one one billion US dollars.

Wealth Products and Other Yield Offerings With Significant Growth

Beyond the main highlights, several other product lines also recorded impressive growth that rarely gets widely exposed to the public. Quarterly ETF trading volume is approaching sixty billion US dollars, growing by more than forty percent from the previous quarter, with the number of traded ETF pairs increasing to three hundred fifty-six pairs. The Launchpool program recorded the highest annualized yield exceeding two hundred sixty percent during this quarter, while CandyDrop generated nearly thirty-eight billion US dollars in futures trading volume from two dozen airdrop campaigns.

Copy trading business also grew rapidly, with the average daily futures copy trading volume up more than seventy percent compared with the previous quarter, while the new CFD copy trading feature directly recorded total volume exceeding ninety-five billion US dollars in the first quarter after launch. Staking business also saw peak assets surpass one point two seven billion US dollars, with five new assets added: HYPE, USD1, SAFE, MON, and USDS.

Expansion of Global Regulatory Compliance

On the regulatory side, Gate recorded several important achievements throughout this quarter. Gate Europe successfully obtained both MiCA license and a Payment Institution license, strengthening their operational foundation under the European Union regulatory regime. Elsewhere, Gate Japan operates under the supervision of the Financial Services Agency, Gate Dubai obtained a license from the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, and Gate Australia completed official registration as a Digital Currency Exchange provider under AUSTRAC.

Ongoing Campaigns and Promotional Programs

Alongside the release of this report, Gate is also running several active campaigns for users interested in futures trading as well as TradFi CFDs, ranging from the Stock Profit Trading Season, the fifth edition Red Bull Trading Tour, which is part of Gate’s official partnership with the F1 Oracle Red Bull Racing team, to a reward of two hundred forty thousand USDT for new futures users, a deposit festival with a five USDT bonus for the first deposit, and even a welcome-back program for veteran futures traders with a one USDT trading scheme that has the potential to earn fifty USDT.

Closing the Quarter, Opening the Second Half

Gate management states that the strategy direction entering the second half of 2026 will remain anchored on three main pillars: security and compliance as the foundation, and multi-asset, globalization, and institutionalization as the core development direction. With Q2 achievements including the launch of global stocks, Pre IPO, IPO Access, CFD, ETFs, Gate Wealth, and institutional services, this combination positions Gate even further beyond its initial identity as merely a crypto exchange—transforming into a one-stop global financial platform that includes investing, trading, financing, payments, and wealth management.

As with most financial products, prospective users are still advised to understand the risks of each instrument before participating, given that this report is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment recommendations or an invitation to invest.
