$BTC Throughout Bitcoin's history, every time we marked a local bottom during a bear market, it was never swept before the pullback to the upside.

When price later came back to that same low, it never held as support. It always broke below it and continued down to form a new local bottom.

But here's the interesting part...

A sweep of the previous local bottom followed by an immediate reclaim has historically always resulted in a bear market bottom.

We've seen this play out in 2 out of the last 3 bear markets, with 2018 being the only exception to this behavior.

If we repeat the same behavior this time, it would mean that 57k was the 2026 bear market bottom.

Anyway, I believe it—buy some first and then deal with the rest.

Historically, after two sweeps of the prior lows followed by a recapture, they were both major bottoms. In 2018, it didn’t sweep and instead kept dropping. This time, if it swept at 57k and then recovered, that really does look like a bottoming signal.

This logic is pretty interesting—if 57k is the bottom, it feels great.

Got it, but we also need to see whether the volume can keep up.
