$BTC Throughout Bitcoin's history, every time we marked a local bottom during a bear market, it was never swept before the pullback to the upside.
When price later came back to that same low, it never held as support. It always broke below it and continued down to form a new local bottom.
But here's the interesting part...
A sweep of the previous local bottom followed by an immediate reclaim has historically always resulted in a bear market bottom.
We've seen this play out in 2 out of the last 3 bear markets, with 2018 being the only exception to this behavior.
If we repeat the same behavior this time, it would mean that 57k was the 2026 bear market bottom.

So you’re saying 57k is the bottom? The historical patterns are kind of interesting, but the 2018 event was an exception, and it leaves me uneasy.

If this time is like the previous two times too, then 57k is the diamond bottom—hopefully they won’t keep stabbing it again.

The exception in 2018 was because the regulatory crackdown was too harsh back then, right? Now the ETF and institutional holdings structure is different; maybe it really can be replicated.

Every time it pulls back to the prior low, it gets broken through. Can this time we directly reclaim? I’m keeping cautious optimism, because the bull market cycle is still ongoing.
