$BTC My ATH short limit at 126.6k was front-ran by a few hundred dollars before ended up market shorting 124k.
From that point onward, I shorted every HTF pullback.
Every time people were in disbelief and expecting higher. Every time the narrative was "It's just a standard correction in a bull market."
I took five separate shorts while the majority remained bullish near the highs, and held them all the way into the next lows.
This time is different.
For the first time in this entire bear market, I'm approaching shorts with caution because the structure is changing.
One thing we've never seen throughout this bear market is a sweep of the local lows before a pullback.
Yet that's exactly what happened before this current move up.
If the market was truly preparing for another leg lower and simply building liquidity beneath price, there was no reason to expose that liquidity first.
Instead, the market swept the lows first which changes the context.
People have spent months getting punished for expecting every pump to continue higher. After being wrong enough times, they don't just lose confidence, they become conditioned.
Now, instead of believing in the bottom like they always did, they have started to fade it.
The exact people who were calling for new highs and missed the shorts all the way down are now convinced that every bounce is just another opportunity to short.
The market doesn't bottom when everyone's still buying every dip. It bottoms when people have been burned enough times that they stop trusting the pumps.
