Gate is excited to announce the launch of Event Contracts, a new trading product designed to make predicting the short-term price direction of BTC and ETH simple. Built to be user-friendly, Event Contracts removes the complexity of traditional futures by eliminating margin, leverage, and liquidation.
How It Works
Users can predict whether BTC or ETH will go UP or DOWN within short time cycles:
Periods: 5-minute, 15-minute, 60-minute, and 240-minute
Minimum entry: As low as 1.5 USDT
Contract Price: 0.01-0.99 USDT, based on market probability
Contract Settlement: Winning contracts are settled at 1 USDT upon the conclusion of the event.
Early Close: Utilize the order book to close positions before the event ends, securing profits or minimizing losses.
Leveraging Chainlink for transparent and automatic settlement, Event Contracts provide a low-risk, straightforward way to engage in short-term price action.
Launch Celebration: $50,000 Prize Pool
To celebrate the release, Gate is hosting a major rewards campaign from July 21 to July 31:
First Order Loss Protection: The first 2,000 users who lose on their initial Event Contract trade will receive up to $5 in compensation.
Profit Doubling: Top performers can have their net profits doubled (capped at $500 per user).
