Solana and the Hyperliquid ETF account for nearly 80% of trading volume in altcoin ETFs

PANews July 22 news, according to The Block, Solana and Hyperliquid ETFs have accounted for nearly 80% of trading volume among non-Bitcoin and non-Ethereum ETFs. Solana ETF assets under management reached $904 million; the Hyperliquid ETF, launched just two months ago, has attracted $350 million in net inflows. Together, they each account for about 2% of their respective token market caps. By comparison, Bitcoin ETFs account for about 9% of their market cap, and the gap suggests there is still room for growth in altcoin ETFs.

Fund flows may vary depending on investor type—SOL and HYPE sit further out on the risk curve, attracting allocators with stronger risk tolerance; Bitcoin and Ethereum benefit from a more stable, more passive investor base. As they continue to engage with regulators and build RWA infrastructure, they may open the door to more investors.

SOL-0.44%
HYPE-4.22%
