PANews July 22 news: According to The Block, crypto trading platform Uphold announced on Tuesday that it has launched trading services in the United States for more than 4,000 US stocks and ETFs, and supports fractional-share trading (odd-lot trading). The service is for US customers, and Uphold plans to expand trading hours to 24/7, seven days a week. When executing “crypto to stocks” trades, Uphold first converts users’ digital assets into USD. Uphold’s fractional-share trading is formally provided by its registered broker-dealer, Uphold Securities Inc., which is affiliated with FINRA; Uphold HQ, Inc. (a US money services business registered with FinCEN) handles crypto-to-stocks transactions, and users must pay a conversion fee. The two companies are independent entities under the same ownership.
