After this husband cared for his wife through a cancer surgery and got it done, he proposed a divorce.
The surgery went very successfully, and they thought that everything would slowly get better.
But after they got home, the two of them completely blew up over a small matter!
The cause was:
The husband reminded his wife to get checkups for a full three years.
She kept putting it off and wouldn’t go.
Until recently, when she finally got checked and found she already had cancer—luckily, it was still in the early stage.
The husband didn’t complain a single time. He immediately helped her contact the hospital, find a doctor, arrange admission, and take care of her—he also sent the children to relatives’ homes, staying with her the whole time to get through the surgery.
The surgery was a success, and when they thought everything would gradually improve—
At home, though, the couple completely exploded over a small incident!
The doctor had instructed them to eat bland food after the operation. The husband looked up a lot of information—he wouldn’t let her keep simmering meat soup, and he also opposed her taking certain so-called “tonic” medicines.
But the wife felt the husband was denying traditional Chinese medicine, and the two ended up having a huge argument over it.
What completely broke the husband wasn’t just this fight.
Rather, over the past few years, he had reminded her countless times to get checked. She kept thinking nothing was wrong, kept ignoring it, and dragged it out for three years—until they truly found out she had cancer.
The husband said:
“I’m not the first time I’ve reminded you.
Why do you only become willing to take it seriously after something happens?”
That day, the more they argued, the worse it got.
The husband was furious, and left with one sentence:
“If you’re still like this, then from now on, we’ll get a divorce.”
After saying that, he left the house and didn’t come back for days.
He wouldn’t answer calls, and wouldn’t reply to texts.
That’s why the wife felt extremely helpless and posted for help!
If you were the husband, would you choose to forgive, or would you feel totally disappointed like he did?
