A finance-industry observer reveals the academic roots behind Kimi’s technical success

ME AI In a message, finance-sector observer FinanceYF5 pointed out that the key technology behind Kimi’s success may come from the PhD thesis of its founder, Yang Zhilin, from ten years ago. He is currently 34 years old, with a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University and a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, and he previously worked at Meta AI and Google Brain.
