Bloomberg: BlackRock’s Korea ETFs have allocated about a quarter of their positions to SK hynix.

PANews July 22, citing a report by Bloomberg, BlackRock’s iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (EWY) for its South Korea exchange-traded fund saw net inflows of more than $2.8 billion last week, setting a record for the highest weekly total in history and far exceeding the $1.2 billion record set in February this year. About 25% of the portfolio has been allocated to SK hynix.

Data show that last week Korean investment products attracted $3.03 billion in net inflows, ranking first globally among countries; in the same period, U.S.-listed emerging market ETFs overall recorded net inflows of $4.39 billion, the highest since February 27. Among them, equity ETFs drew in $4.22 billion, and bond funds saw inflows of $164 million.
