Galaxy Digital launches a Bitcoin quantum-safe program, investing $5 million to address “quantum threats”
PANews July 22日消息, according to Decrypt, Galaxy Digital announced the launch of the “Bitcoin Quantum Readiness Initiative,” with a planned investment of up to $5 million in developer grants, and will drive upgrades to the Bitcoin network toward being resilient against quantum attacks through research projects and an expert advisory committee. The program includes three core components: first, providing up to $5 million in funding support for the development of post-quantum cryptography solutions; second, conducting research by Galaxy Research on quantum computing and Bitcoin security; third, establishing a quantum-safe advisory council, inviting academic experts to participate in discussions on the technical roadmap.
