PANews July 21 news: Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted that billionaires such as Warren Buffett could consider donating their stock holdings to Trump Accounts (“Trump account”), using it as a vehicle to distribute assets to low-income people in order to narrow the wealth gap. He believes that, compared with a one-time cash payout or small index investments, this approach is more favorable for ordinary people to share the long-term compound returns of the stock market. It can also improve recipients’ financial literacy, strengthen their understanding of capital markets and capitalist mechanisms, and to a certain extent ease policy pressure on redistribution through voluntary charity. Balchunas noted that such donations can avoid capital gains tax and intermediary management costs, with all assets flowing directly to beneficiaries.
