Financial infrastructure platform Cordant completes an $8.0 million seed round, co-led by Motive Partners and Oak HC/FT

PANews July 21 news, according to Business Wire, Cordant, a financial infrastructure platform founded by a former Rapyd executive, announced it has completed a $8 million seed round. Motive Partners and Oak HC/FT co-led the round, with participation from Bitso, Paxos, and others, which also serve as design partners. Cordant does not access funds or replace core systems; instead, it connects payment rails, bank accounts, ledgers, compliance and risk-control systems, standardizing fragmented data into a unified event model. It provides banks, payment companies, and financial technology institutions with a real-time “command center” to monitor cross-system transaction paths, identify control gaps, manage abnormal processes, and generate audit-grade evidence, enabling the safe introduction of AI workflows in regulated environments.
