Safe Reports Record Q2 With 130M Smart-Account Transactions - Crypto Economy
Safe Ecosystem Foundation said July 29 that Safe smart accounts processed nearly 130 million transactions in Q2 2026, the highest quarterly total recorded, up 5.7% from Q1. April alone reached 55.4 million transactions, reinforcing that activity remained elevated across the quarter.
Monthly active Safe accounts rose to 2.73 million in June, while total accounts reached 63.4 million, up 20% year over year. With Q2 transfer volume at $39.3 billion and $27.24 billion held in self-custodied assets at quarter-end, usage growth was translating into deeper economic activity.
Safenet Beta ended its launch quarter with 54.8 million SAFE staked across 539 stakers and had checked more than 500,000 transactions by July 29. Safe also generated $1.98 million in Q2 revenue, up 42% year over year, making security adoption and repeatable revenue the clearest tests of ecosystem durability.
