A third-party merger supported by Tether fell through, and Jack Mallers stepped down as CEO of Twenty One Capital

PANews July 21, according to Bloomberg, the three-way merger plan among the previously planned-to-merge crypto companies Twenty One Capital, Strike, and Elektron Energy has been terminated. Jack Mallers, CEO of Twenty One Capital and Strike, has stepped down from his role as CEO of Twenty One Capital, with Raphael Zagury, CEO of Elektron Energy, taking over. The report said the three companies had previously planned to integrate their businesses with support from Tether, but the deal has fallen through; Twenty One Capital is now managed by Zagury, who oversees the relevant business lines.
